Brown, Ann Porter.
Ann Porter Brown was an active and well-known Methodist Church layperson. She was born Sept. 23, 1901 in Dickenson County, Kansas. Her professional career with the Methodist Church began in 1958 as Treasurer, Woman's Division of Christian Service. At the time of her retirement in 1969 she was General Secretary of the United Methodist Church, Board of Missions. She died May 16, 1987 in Denver, Colo.
