San Antonio Founders Day.

Hide Profile

San Antonio Founders Day mission is to honor the more than 20 cultural groups and outstanding individuals who shaped our San Antonio heritage and to stimulate interest in reading and learning about our history and heritage in the context of the history of Texas, the nation and the world.

San Antonio Founders Day is also an enduring, broad-based information and awareness effort that aims to expand our community’s knowledge and appreciation of our nearly 300-year history and heritage. This is a year-round program dedicated to helping raise San Antonio’s national ranking for widespread reading.
