Minneapolis Union Railway Company.

Hide Profile

The company was incorporated by GN interests in 1881 and built several facilities in Minneapolis that benefited the several railroads that entered the city, including the Stone Arch Bridge (1883), the first union depot (1885), double track rail line, and related improvements. The railroads using these facilities paid rent to the company. GN purchased all of the company's properties in 1907 and it was formally dissolved in 1928.
