Danforth, Clarence A., 1844-1927
Soldier with Company A, 19th Wisconsin Volunteers during the Civil War; after returning to Wisconsin, participated with a Kansas cavalry unit in the Kansas Indian wars; appointed postmaster of Beaver City, Neb.; and later moved to Fern Hill, Wash.; involved with Grand Army of the Republic posts in Nebraska and Washington.
