The Ogden Regional Family History Center is the second largest family history center in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It's mission is twofold: to assist patrons in preparing the names of ancestors for sacred LDS temple ordinances, and to help assemble information from which biographies of ancestors can be written. LDS Church authorities frequently stress the importance of geneological research in blessing the lives of its members. The Ogden Regional Family History Center has many resources for research, including books, microfilm, microfiche, CD-roms, and over 100 internet-ready computers. Classes on geneological research are also provided for beginners and experienced patrons alike.
