The first Hill Memorial Library was constructed on Louisiana State University's campus in downtown Baton Rouge in 1903. The second Hill Memorial Library was constructed on the current campus in 1924. Troy H. Middleton Library, originally called LSU Centennial Library, was built in 1958.
