Haines, George H.
Variant namesGeorge Gutteridge (or Guthridge) Haines (no. 5558) enlisted on 10 July 1915, served as a gunner with the 13th Field Artillery Brigade, and was repatriated to Australia on 16 March 1919. Born in Allandale, Vic. in 1895, he was the son of Christopher Haines and wife Minnie (nee Croy). He married Alexandria May Mott in 1924 and died in East Melbourne in 1940.
