Wamsutta Mills
Incorporated in 1846; first mill opened in 1849 under the supervision of Thomas Bennett, Jr.; it was a cotton manufacturer primarioly producing cotton shirting and sheeting which operated in New Bedford, Mass., for over 100 hundred years.
