Heuring, Frederick A., b. 1828.
Born in Germany, Heuring was living in Rockport, Ind. by 1861. He enlisted with the 25th Indiana Regiment during the Civil War as a chaplain, and served mainly in Missouri and Arkansas. Thirty years later, he seems to have been living in Oklahoma, and died sometime after 1907.
