Cleveland, J. Harlan (James Harlan), 1918-
James Harlan Cleveland (b. 1918), diplomat and government official, was Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs from 1961 to 1965, and Ambassador to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) from 1965 to 1969.
