Bowers, Laura Boddie Jones, 1915-2003
Laura Boddie Jones Bowers graduated from Sophie Newcomb Memorial College in 1936 and Louisiana State University in 1940. She worked as a librarian in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Natchitoches, La. Bowers was also a special services librarian in the United States Army during World War II.
