Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (Forks, Wash.)
The roots of Prince of Peace Lutheran began in 1965 with the establishment of a confirmation class in Forks. Sunday School and worship services began on a regular basis on September 18, 1966. Formal organization occurred on May 14, 1967. Groundbreaking ceremonies for the new church were held on Labor Day of 1968. The first service in this building was held in the Fellowship Hall on Christmas Eve of that year.
