The Advisory Committee on Affirmative Action advises the President and the college administration, bringing to the attention of the College opinions and suggestions regarding the provisions of the College's Affirmative Action Program. In carrying out its mission, the Committee has authority to solicit opinion from and issue reports to the College community. The Committee is composed of faculty members and staff and others, under the leadership of the Affirmative Action Officer. The Affirmative Action Advisory Committee has subcommittees on gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender issues; diversity educators; women, work and family issues; sexual harassment; and the committee on collegiality.
