Dewar, James
Educated at Edinburgh University. Assistant professor of Chemistry in Edinburgh and afterwards was Jacksonian Professor of Experimental Philosophy at Cambridge 1875. Fullerian Professor of Chemistry at the Royal Institution, Albermarle St. 1877. Davy Medallist Royal Society 1909.
