This collection concerns descendants of Isaiah Thomas (1749-1831) of Worcester, Mass., including his nephew Ebenezer Smith Thomas (1775-1845) of Annapolis, Md., and Ebenezer Smith Thomas's daughter, Martha McCannon Thomas (1818-1890), his grandsons Isaiah Thomas (1805-1862) of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Benjamin Franklin Thomas (1813-1878) of Boston, Mass., his granddaughter Frances Church Thomas Crocker (1800-1868), and his great-grandson Edward Isaiah Thomas (1833-1890), son of Isaiah (1805-1862).
