Universalist minister and businessman. Born in Salem, N.H. Ordained, 1837. Served churches in Mt. Vernon, N.Y., South Danvers, Mass., and Nunda, N.Y. Retired from the ministry in 1860 for health reasons. Lived in Brooklyn, N.Y. and worked as secretary, Architectural Iron Works and served briefly as president of the Philadelphia Car Company.
