Kirkpatrick, William, 1830-1900.
William Kirkpatrick was born in what was then the town of Salina in 1830. His father served as the superintendent of the salt springs in Syracuse for twenty-two years, beginning in 1806. William Kirkpatrick and his twin brother Donald were both involved in the manufacture of coarse salt in Syracuse. Donald Kirkpatrick died in 1889. William Kirkpatrick died in 1900.
