Tryon, James Owen, 1879-1952.
James Owen Tryon was born September 16, 1879 in Athens, N.Y. After graduating from Williams College in 1900, Tryon attended New York Law School (LL. D. 1903) and practiced law in New York from 1903 to 1926. During World War I, he served as Field Director and Major for the American Red Cross and was in charge of the debarkation hospital on Staten Island. Tryon died November 7, 1952.
