Susan Stowell (Brewster) Peck was the daughter of Henry and Charlotte (Stowell) Brewster of Middlebury. She married Joseph Alanson Peck (1874-1933, Middlebury College, Class of 1898) in 1901. They lived in New York City, but maintained ties to Middlebury; she owned the house on Washington Street in which she had grown up and much of this correspondence after the death of her husband was addressed to her there.
