Don Luis Terrazas (1829-1923) was born José Louis Gonzaga Jesús Daniel Terrazas Fuentas in Chihuahua, Mexico, on July 20, 1829.

He was a Mexican politician, businessman, rancher, and soldier, and prominent figure in the state of Chihuahua during the Mexican Revolution. He led the Cientificos during the regime of Porfirio Diaz and founded the Creel-Terrazas family. Terrazas served as governor of Chihuahua (1858-1873; 1879-1903).
