Shearer, Paul Victor, 1919-1995.
Paul Shearer was an attorney in Washington, Iowa. In 1979, he took over as owner and publisher of the Columbus Gazette from his father, B.H. Shearer. Paul Shearer was also an active lay leader in the Methodist Church.
