Blair, W. C. (William Cochran), 1791-1873.
W.C. Blair graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary and went to the Republic of Texas in 1840 as a missionary and representative of the Board of Foreign Missions of the Presbyterian Church. Walter M. Lowrie was also a Presbyterian missionary, minister, and educator.
