Sterling, E. Kearsley.
Sterling was a United States Military Academy (USMA) graduate, Class of 1901, and served at the Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas from 1920-1924 and again from 1930-1934. He was also commanding officer, 359th Infantry, American Expeditionary Forces (AEF), during World War I.
