Masnel Corporation, a publishing firm specializing in Bibles, was formerly known as Thomas Nelson and Sons. The latter was established in 1870 and was incorporated in 1903 as a New York corporation. In 1931, Thom as Nelson and Sons merged with Thomas Nelson & Sons. The firm moved to New Jersey in 1958 and was incorporated there. In 1969, the name and assets of Thomas Nelson and Sons were sold and the new name became Masnel Corporation. Masnel Corporation voluntarily dissolved itself as a New Jersey corporation in 1970.
