Wiley, Edwin, 1872-1924
Variant namesEdwin Wiley was born at Coal Creek, Tenn., and educated at the University of Tennessee and George Washington University, receiving a Ph.D. degree from the latter in 1911. He married Garnet Noel of Nashville, Tenn., in 1902. He worked as a librarian at the University of Tennessee, Vanderbilt University, the Library of Congress, the University of California at Berkeley, and the Peoria Public Library.
