Robert Stacy Lindsay (1872-1948) was elected mayor of Midvale from 1920-1921. He worked in mills and concentration camps.

Robert Stacy Lindsay was born on February 8, 1872, in Heber, Utah. On December 21, 1899, Robert S. Lindsay married Alice M. Edwards in the Salt Lake Temple. He lived in Park City for a number of years where he worked with the Marsac mill and later the Daily West mill. Later, he was transferred to Midvale to work at the concentration plant. Robert S. Lindsay was elected Mayor of Midvale from 1920 to 1921. Robert Lindsay had seven daughters: Francis, Cora, Fern, Roberta, Emogene (Emma Jean), Clarissa, and Cleo. Robert S. Lindsay died at age 76 on March 17, 1948, in a Salt Lake hospital.

Alice Matilda Edwards was born on April 15, 1879, in Mill Creek, Salt Lake, Utah, to Phillip Edwards and Mary Ann Simmons. She married Robert Stacy Lindsay in the Salt Lake Temple on December 21, 1899. She died on July 27, 1953, in West Jordan, Utah.
