Denver Metropolitan Baseball Stadium District.
Established in 1989 as a corporate body and political subdivision of the State of Colorado. The district includes all or part of six counties in the Denver-Metro area and was created for the planning and construction of a professional baseball field in Denver, Colo. The Denver Metropolitan Baseball Stadium District owns Coors Field, the home of the Colorado Rockies baseball team.
