Shay, William Warden, ca. 1869-1937.
Head of Swine Extension at the North Carolina College of Agriculture and Engineering starting in 1918. Shay was a purebred swine breeder, who wrote poetry as a hobby. He lived in Michigan before moving to North Carolina.
