Hilda Pauline Rosengard was born on Nov. 27, 1898 and grew up in Roxbury, Mass. At New England Conservatory, she studied piano with Stuart Mason and graduated in 1919. She married Nat Krinsky and they had two sons, Paul and Edward, and four grandchildren. Nat Krinsky, who had been an All-American backetball player at City College in 1921, was the long-time coach (baseball, soccer, basketball, and track) at James Madison High School in Brooklyn, N.Y. He died in May 1984. Hilda Krinsky died in Oct. 1986.
