Variant namesRobert Duff Campbell (b. Dec. 19, 1917, Billings, Mont.), U.S. Air Force officer, served from 1941 to 1945, after graduating from Northwestern University in 1939. After his military service he pursued a career in publishing with Newsweek magazine and the Washington Post Company. He was a member of the Foreign Policy Association, New York Board of Trade, Council on Foreign Relations, and the Pacific Basin Economic Council.
