Brown, Mary (Mary Ann),
Mary and Ralph Brown moved from Dothan, Ala., where they were farmers, to Columbus, Ga. in 1940 to work in the Eagle and Phenix Mill. They both worked in the Inspecting Department for many years. Mr. Brown worked there 37 years; when Mrs. Brown's position was phased out she went to work at the Columbus government center for over 12 years until her retirement.
