Nock, Rupert A., 1905-1977.

Rupert Nock of Newburyport, MA, entered Norwich University in 1924 and remained until 1927 but did not graduate. While at Norwich, he played football and was a member of the Phi Kappa Delta fraternity. He served in the Army Air Corps in World War II. Nock later graduated from Brown University and was superintendent of schools in Newburyport from 1946 until his retirement in 1970. He married Ruth Bingham and the couple had two sons.
