Retail company and manufacturer of musical instruments.
Rudolph Wurlitzer began his company in 1856 as a retail business in Cincinnati, Ohio. Over the years, it began to manufacture instruments, notably huge pipe organs and juke boxes. In 1977, the company's headquarters were moved to DeKalb, Illinois.
