Otero, Miguel A., 1892-
Kathrine Stinson was born February 14, 1896 in Jackson, Mississippi. She developed an interest in aviation and became one of the first woman air pilots in 1912. She met her husband, Miguel A. Otero, Jr., while recuperating from tubercolosis in Santa Fe, NM. Otero, born August 30, 1892 in Las Vegas, New Mexico, was the the son of Gov. Miguel A. Otero. A lawyer and veteran of both World Wars, he was actively involved in New Mexico politics.
