Santa Fe Railway Company.
The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway, shortened to Sante Fe Railway, was chartered in February 1859. The Santa Fe Railway's tracks reached the Kansas/Colorado state line in 1873 and Pueblo, Colorado in 1876. On December 31, 1996 the ATSF merged with the Burlington Northern Railroad and formed the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway.
