The General Literature Committee of the General Synod's Woman's Home and Foreign Missionary Society (WHFMS) was responsible for publication of literature used by the WHFMS for outreach and education purposes. The committee comprised nine woman and met the first Tuesday of every month. It published informational pamphlets, the quarterly publication Mission Studies, and any other material deemed necessary to assist in fulfilling the mission of the WHFMS. It was responsible for providing synodical and auxiliary societies with educational material and topics for study at monthly meetings. It prepared programs for the annual Thank Offering, and made photographs of WHFMS missionaries and mission buildings available for purchase.
