Barker family
James Barker was a Philadelphia cotton and woolen machinery and iron castings manufacturer. His son, Joseph Pollitt Barker, worked for him in the machinery business as a travelling salesman and also as an engineer. Jonathan H. Blood was a Philadelphia hosiery manufacturer. In 1908, his daughter, Eleanor, married Joseph P. Barker.
