University of Washington. Bureau of Community Development.
Created in 1950 by Raymond B. Allen, the Bureau of Community Development experimental program that provided a community consultant to and a guidelines for Community Study Groups. The Bureau was part of the Division of Adult Education, and was headed by Richard W. Poston. As part of this program, communities would form groups to study themselves, assess problems, and propose solutions.
