New York State College of Veterinary Medicine. College Clerk.
Charles Ezra Cornell was the College Clerk during this period. He was, in fact, the first to serve in that office, and maintained the position from 1897-1902. He was also the College Librarian, which was then a function of the College Clerk. In addition, because of a requirement in the University Charter, he was a member of the University Board of Trustees as the "eldest lineal descendant of Ezra Cornell."
