University of Oregon. Philologian Society
The Philologian Society was a student group at the University of Oregon. According to the society's constitution, the Society was formed "in order to attain greater proficiency in debate, and a more thorough knowledge of parliamentary usages...for the discussions of questions of government, literature, history, science and religion."
