Cade, John Brother, 1932-
John Brother Cade Jr. was born on the campus of Prairie View A&M University, Texas, to John B. Cade Sr. and Jessie Mae Maben Cade. He attended Southern University Laboratory High School and later graduated from Southern University. Cade taught at McKinley High School in Baton Rouge, La., between 1961 and 1964. He also was a teacher at Scotlandville High School and assistant principal at Capitol High School. His father, John B. Cade Sr., was the first principal at Southern University Laboratory High School and University Dean and Director of Extension Services at Southern University (1939-1961).
