He was captain, 123rd U.S. Infantry Regiment, 118th U.S. Machine Gun Battalion; G-3, 83rd Division; captain and adjutant, 47th U.S. Infantry Regiment; captain and adjutant, 29th U.S. Infantry Regiment; captain, 45th U.S. Infantry Regiment (Philippine Scouts (PS)) and captain through brigadier general, Judge Advocate General's (JAG) Department (Dept.).
