R. Wayne Pace (b. 1931) is the Professor Emeritus of Organizational Leadership in the Marriott School of Management, Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah, and adjunct scholar in the Workplace Research, Learning, and Development (WoRLD) Institute of the School of Social and Workplace Development, Southern Cross University, Lismore, NSW, Australia. Dr. Pace holds a Ph.D. from Purdue University, an M.S. from Brigham Young University, and a B.S. from the University of Utah. In addition to a long list of teaching and research positions, Pace served as the President of the International Communication Association for 1971, and was elected Founding President of the Academy of Human Resource Development in 1993.
