Bradford Samuel Crittenden was the California State Senator from San Joaquin County (1930-1951), State Assemblyman (1920-1930). Active on Central Valley water issues. Collection consists mostly of California State documents on the Central Valley Project. Chairman of Senate Agriculture Committee from 1933-1950. Chaired the Joint Legislative Committee on State Water Problems. He graduated from University of the Pacific in 1903. He married Edith M. MacChesney around 1910. She was a University of the Pacific graduate of 1895. They had two children, Bradford M. Crittenden (1912-1980) and Edith Eudora Crittenden.
