Represented are Alexander Fenelon Taylor (1807-1871) and his wife Elvira McClelland (Henry) Higginbotham Taylor (1829-1874), who was the granddaughter of Patrick Henry. Elvira's first husband was Jesse Alexander Higginbotham (1822-1849); Daniel Higginbotham (1781-1845) was Jesse's uncle and he left his nephew a significant portion of his estate, which Jesse in turn left to his wife, Elvira.
