Mary Lois Granger (ca. 1897-1970), a native of Savannah, daughter of Harvey Granger, was a novelist, poet and essayist. She published three novels: Widow of Ephesus (New York, Putnam, 1926), Wife to Pilate (New York, Payson & Clark Ltd., 1929) and Lucy and Three (New York, Brewer & Warren, 1930). She contributed to literary magazines and newspapers - poetry, descriptive articles, etc. She edited Savannah River Plantations, by the Savannah Writers' Project (Savannah, Georgia Historical Society, 1947).
