Nathan Hale Committee (Huntington, N.Y.)
In 1936 the Huntington Town Board appointed a committee to resolve the issue of the time and location of the capture of Nathan Hale. By 1939 the committee had issued its report to the Town Board, but the controversy continues. The committee chair was the Rev. Edward J. Humeston.
