Dobie, Martha, 1900-1997
Kerrville, Texas, resident Martha Amanda Dobie (1900-1997) was the co-owner of the town's Main Book Shop. She was one of six children of Richard J. and Ella (Byler) Dobie and the sister of folklorist and author J. Frank Dobie, best known for his books about life in rural Texas during the days of the open range.
