Minor, Katherine Surget, 1834-1926.
Katherine Surget was born April 27, 1834, in Natchez, Miss. She married John Minor (1831-1869) in 1855, and they had five children: James, Mary, Katherine, Duncan and Jeanne. The Minor and Surget families owned several plantations in Louisiana and Mississippi.
