Federation of Telephone Workers of Pennsylvania
Variant namesThe Federation of Telephone Workers of Pennsylvania (FTWP) represented employees of telephone companies throughout Pennsylvania. In 1984, the FTWP merged with the Communication Workers of America to form CWA Local 13000. Frank Wentzel was president of the Pittsburgh Division of the FTWP and was responsible for leading the union into the CWA, where he served as an assistant to two CWA vice presidents.
